Re: I played this bad, didn\'t I...
You are utg +1 with 4473 ds. This hand is pretty bad because bottom set will leave you in bad situations when the board pairs, and straights or flushes will reach the rest of the time. It is a preflop fold and a turn fold. qtxx and slow played qqxx are probably your opponent at least 70% of time, unless your opponent pushes trips very often. Most ppl dont call bet and raise with second pair.

Re: I played this bad, didn\'t I...
This was a pretty loose table, all limps no real raises pf... if I check behind on turn is calling the river bet ok?
FWIW I am a bit loose pf at omaha I guess, I am still learning. Edit: for no great reason I put him As Tx Xs Xx, trips A high w/the nut FD... still a dumb call though. |

Re: I played this bad, didn\'t I...
Yeah not a very strong hand to be calling from UTG+1, but in a game where there is a lot of limping it's not a bad hand to play if you are able to play well after the flop.
With this, the way he played it, its hard to really put him on QQxx because most small stakes plo players from what I've seen normally just pot pot because of the all the various draws out there that someone could have so they could protect their hand. But yeah on the river you have fold this especially to that bet but give credit to the way he played it and there really wasn't much you could do, besides now you just know in the future that he's capable of making this type of slow play. |

Re: I played this bad, didn\'t I...
I dont know how much this translates to low stakes cash plo, but in sngs I have seen players slow play top set. That said the turn raise by villian screams fh, and since you have 44 you know your fh is dead.
