You're playing too passive here. I would raise the flop, and if he calls check behind on the turn and see how he plays the river. You have position here so use it to your advantage.

I don't know if I like a raise on this board. Doing so allows villain to play perfectly against hero. I.E. fold everything that we beat and stack us when hes ahead. If villain is bluffing/value betting a worse hand why do we want him to stop? I think OP played this hand fine.
