I've been learning piano/organ parts to Sonics songs. It's really fun for someone who doesn't know a lot about music theory because the songs are simple enough to get up to speed pretty quickly. And always playing drums with the band, show with The Fleshtones tomorrow, and we just released our first record.

I play guitar and am currently learning:

John Petrucci - Glasgow Kiss

Steve Vai - Tender Surrender

Also for the acoustic stuff:
Classical Gas by Mason Williams

Aswell as practicing various technique's. But I tend to get bored of a song if I get stuck or play it too much so this list has probably changed in a week lol. Gonna try to disicipline myself and learn them tho.

I bought a ukelele last summer and have been printing off random tab charts for pop songs that I sing and play to my son (19 months old). He's particularly fond of YMCA and Oops, I Did It Again.

Traveling with a guitar is difficult, so I bought a baritone ukulele to travel with. The four strings are the same as the 4 highest strings on a guitar so it's easy to adapt. It's actually bigger than I thought it would be and traveling with it is kind of a pain w/o a really large bag. Acoustic songs translate really well, but I also have some fun playing AC/DC, Rage Against the Machine, and Ram Jam on it.
