Is the flop call allright? Or should i raise to get some information? There is no draws possible except overcards.

What about the river? The only hands i can think of that he plays this way beats me think. Smells 88. But i don't really know.

smells more like a blocking bet than a value bet, you probably see more KKs/QQs here than a set, I think you are beat here more often than not but still a call wouldnt be that bad...IMO

You gonna raise to $30 or something? Well... with just calling you managed to see the river for $25. So that's a better option. I think.
And raise for information? What do you get to know if he calls?

Why do you bet the turn?
You can't call the river. The ace didn't scare him, since he called your turn bet. So it smells like he has a set.

You can bet the turn if you think he is on a draw. But that's not the case here.

Do you think he bet on the flop with QKs or something? I don't think that, so there's no need to protect your hand from overcards.

edit: changed 'called you' to 'bet'

I could put the bad guy on a deuce with A2 suited very possible, A2 of diamonds perhaps.

AA is also possible, I can see him getting fancy with a big hand being essentially loose weak and also, if you have been aggressive. I think you are dead here more than the odds you are getting.

You are right. I should have thought about what he bets the flop with.

I think I would raise the flop. It's likely you're ahead, and by just calling you may lose to something like 77, 99, TT, A8, etc, but either the BB or player behind you, since you won't know where you're at if you just call, and they may bet you off you're hand if a scare card comes. Assuming he calls the raise, check behind turn and fold river.
