not accept votes for your poll until a certain time?

Seriously has anyone ever started a topic with a poll in it and thought to themsevles "I really would like to see people's thoughts here, but I don't want them to vote for a few more hours"?

I think the feature might be useful if you want people do discuss the topic before voting on it. However, having a vote button that is disabled instead of just removing the vote button is annoying. I'm sure this will change when we switch to Vbulletin.
