Re: 98, two pair facing a nit
easy turn ch/rai. why did you ch/cal with so many draws out there??? half the river cards either kill your action or give him a better hand
as played super easy river push... you look like missed diamonds and get called by all kinds of 1 pair hands. |

Re: 98, two pair facing a nit
I think cs3 has it spot on. C/r flop, as played crai turn, as played push river.

[ QUOTE ]
I think cs3 has it spot on. C/r flop, as played crai turn, as played push river. [/ QUOTE ] IMO leading the flop like OP does is much better than C/R of flop. Only problem is he should be CRAI against this villain on the turn. Lets villain get away way to easy on the flop with a C/R. What hands are we putting the villain on here btw??? 88/99 are pretty unlikely considering we have one of both in our hand. Someone this tight doesn't call with k8/k9. If I had to guess, would probably be KJs+, Axd, with a lot of weight to the diamond draw/combo draw here. |

Re: 98, two pair facing a nit
i'm having major trouble putting this villain on a hand.
i know hero has an 8, but villain's hand looks like 88 (nice suckout, fish). if he doesn't have that, i think he has some kind of draw. i guess he could have a strangely played AK. i'd check (and call if he shoves, obviously). |

Re: 98, two pair facing a nit
checking flop is bad...u don't want the villain to check behind wiht a draw, which he will if he's smart.
push the flop after he raises you. u can't call and check the turn becuase for the same reason u can't on the flop. |
