Default 99 OOP 200NL mabye boring but these ones bug me

Villian is illusionsss. 21/17/3 over 150, first time playing with him and wouldn't be real suprised if its one of you. What am I putting a 21/17 on here. Am I really just giving him credit for a 6 or 22? I think 77 88 is just as likely. I almost called river but then thought this is one of those where I feel real stupid when he turns over 67. But 10s or better he probably reraises and the big river bet just seems fishy to me. I'm having a bit of trouble with medium pairs lately, I just can't seem to let them go quick enough. My biggest losers this month are 99 and 10 10 and thats just not right. Do I bet/fold turn? No draws out at all and I think a big hand just calls and lets me hang myself a lot. Help?

I don't get why you have to act before the small blind on the turn and river.

yea, action's messed up.

I think sb is supposed to be button.

If that's the case,
I really don't know what to think here,
nothing makes sense for a hand that he could have,
unless he coldcalled, then floated with something like 9T,
which seems pretty unlikely.

I doubt he has QQ+ because of the pre-flop action.
I doubt he has JT/T9 because of the flop unless floats a lot.
So he either has 76,65 or a pocket pair JJ or smaller.
Your check-call on the turn showed some weakness and therefore I think there is a decent chance he is bluffing here with a small pocket pair.

Messed up hand cuz there is no SB. Here it is:

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero raises to $7, MP calls, CO folds, Button calls, BB folds.

Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($23, 3 players)

Okay as for the hand, I think you should call.

He usually reraises JJ+ preflop.

His flop call looks like a semi-float, could be 77 or 88 or almost anything. Then on the turn he follows through with the float. River, you look weak so he goes for the kill.

Now he may well have been floating with TJ but c'est la vie.

anyone like leading the turn? and or check folding (read dependent?) I guess the call on the turn looks like a leak.

He put you in the exact spot he wanted you in. have to make a hero call on river push when he is bluffing and when he has a hand he is getting paid off. I would advise to bet here 50% of the time and check fold the rest.

This turn & river card is actually perfect for hero and I think check-calling here is EXPERT.

If the turn was an A-Q you should probably bet again and not put any more chips in.

I see two possible holdings for villain
1: 6x that didn't need to raise the flop because it's so dry, he's value shoving on the river because he knows with your line (esp checking the river) that you never have a T and he's trying to get looked up by high pocket pairs

2:He has a 33-55/77/88 type of hand that floated your flop c-bet. When you call his turn bet he knows you have a decent hand and he can't win at showdown with 66 or whatever so he dicides to turn his hand into a bluff because the board is now double-paired.

So villain never has Tx here unless it's TT but that reraises pf a decent amount of the time and it's really unlikely with two tens out.

So as played it's really close but I think I vote for call just based on gut instinct
