Final Pot: $219.10

Ive never encountered a set being played this way since iver moved up to 100nl a few weeks ago. I think this type of play(checkcall flop and lead turn) is usually made by a flush draw, but there arent hardly any draws on this board at all. IU probably shouldve folded, but ive never encountered a set being played this way, but i see AJ, JK make this play all the time. I hate making these kind of calls and usually dont. If he check raised the flop i wouldve gotten away, but his play threw me off completely. Would you say i shouldve folded the turn?raised the turn? fold on river? and if he checked the turn do i bet again or check for pot control?

this is tough as the turn play is debatable (raise/call) but the river is pretty much a fold.

Do you have reads on any of these players?
Do you use a hud?

Sets are often played this way...but if you are going to call the turn then you must think you are still ahead right? If that is the case then the river is about the best card in the deck for you (save a Q) and you should call there too.

Also, for future refrence, avoid leading us in the direction the hand went. I could pretty much tell you ran into a set from the way you worded your post.

the best way to post hands is to leave the results as ambiguous as possible so you can be sure to get opinions that are not tainted by us knowing the actual outcome.
