She bets, Jade raises, I 3b. All call. Turn Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I bet, Call call. River, J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Jade checks, I check. Chantel is involved in a conversation with her legion of little manfriends and is dimly aware of what's going on; asks "Is it on me?"... Yes Chantel, it's on you. She bets.. Jade thinks... And calls. Now what?

Seems like the fact that its an overcall is close to irrelevant because a K doesnt play that way and an 8 is a pretty unlikely card. You are pretty much never behind the first caller. I think payoff is good here, wont chantel valuebet worse hands than just a straight here? Or is that crazy.

You're beat most of the time here, but I like to sleep better at night. Chantel probably has AK with Ah or Kh. I mean it's not the worst call in the world.
If it was head up between you Chantel, you call every time in this spot right? In this case, it seems that you most likely have Jade beat whom might have a set herself with 99 or something, so I still call... plus it's Chantel, even if she wins the pot, you know you can get the money back..
