20$ buyin open ended str8+flush draw
I'm trying to improve my MTT game and the problem I get is never able to be a big stack, always down to shorty trying to survive.. I know I have to reread anthology more. I think I have trouble with your tournament life on those two cards, etc.. People either bully me or I out when the BB wakes up with a hand to call my shove.
EDIT: Sorry forgot to tell stack size (they are all 1000) I'm in the SB, JThh limped by like 5 people I call. No real read its the 6th hand or so Flop comes Qh Kc 4h (pot 100) I'm oop I check intend to check raise all in if possible a) I'm a moron b) I r good c) Bet the flop plz |

Re: 20$ buyin open ended str8+flush draw
Assuming stacks are 1500, I always lead here. It sets up a three bet push and gets calls from Qs which won't bet and will usually give up to a second barrel on the turn. A weak king (consistent with the limping) will probably call, probably won't give up on a later street, but will give us two cards.
