How easy is it to cheat on exams at your school?
I wrote an exam today, and had to go to the washroom. Someone took me there, and just waited outside(not the stall, but outside the whole washroom). I figured it would always be easy to just take notes into a stall or something, but you could have like a team of people in the washroom helping you at my school.
Maybe they don't expect people to cheat on exams, or maybe the guy who took me to the washroom just wasn't doing his job, but is this normal? I always thought there would be more protection against people doing this at university. In my high school, teachers would like walk students into the washroom etc., so I figured they would be even more careful at university.

my school has an honor code where the teachers aren't even allowed to proctor our exams.
basically, it's a free license to cheat, but barely anyone does... it's kinda cool actually.

most teachers at my school let us go to the bathroom durrin normal test, just not finals (Syracuse University). i always found this odd, and an extremely easy way to cheat. i dont cheat on tests...but its very open to kids who want to.
and Bruin...that is pretty dope that ur school actually openingly acknowledges and follows the honor code, to the point where the students dont even need to b monitored. (also, what school Timex?)

The thing with cheating in college is that the penalties are very high. In high school if you get caught cheating its basically a slap on the wrist. In college though if you get caught you are risking expulsion from the school and if that happens good luck finding another school to get into.

Waterloo, Ontario [/ QUOTE ] In my experience if you have a exam thats not in the PAC there aren't enough proctors to even escort you to the bathroom. I know people who just leave their backpacks in the hall and when they go the bathroom take a look at their notes.
