Default 11out str8draw vs set - can i call (push) by odds?

If he's on 66 or 44 i got 13 outs. Push or fold?

Button ($50.70)
SB ($60.10)
BB ($181.50)
UTG ($159.60)
Hero ($60.35)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, SB completes, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $1.5</font>, Hero calls $1, SB calls $1.

Flop: ($4.50) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $3</font>, BB folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $12</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $40.3</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero ???

Default Re: 11out str8draw vs set - can i call (push) by odds?

First you have only 12 outs (2 eights, 3 sevens, 3 tens and 4 fives) and all for the nuts.

Your equity against a set is ~41%

So you have the odds to call. I would not push. After the bet, your raise and his repot it is very likley, you will loose this hand, if the board pairs. So you can save the remaining chips if the turn card pairs the board and if you hit your draw SB calls your push at the turn everytime.
