Um, yeah. .5/1 QQ vs. preflop capper on KKxJ
I'm not really sure what I was hoping to beat after the turn... is this standard?

Re: Um, yeah. .5/1 QQ vs. preflop capper on KKxJ
u cant come close to folding here even if utg had more reasonable stats over a large enough sample size.
This guy could be playing lots of worse PPs AJs or offsuit or even AQ AT or worse Ax this way for all u know, def dont fold the turn and thats not even close. The river gets closer but u gotta pay off. |

Re: Um, yeah. .5/1 QQ vs. preflop capper on KKxJ
This would be my standard line. Even when I'm the capper pre-flop, I get bet into a lot on the flop with a wide variety of hands. When the board is paired it's even more likely.

Re: Um, yeah. .5/1 QQ vs. preflop capper on KKxJ
It's fine. Versus an AA-TT, AK range you're obviously in horrible shape on the turn, but this Villain probably has a wider capping range than that.
(Interestingly, it turns out that, versus that narrow range I just gave, you still have the odds to call down. 18 combos beat you, you're tied with 1 combo, and you're beating 6 combos. And you're getting about 4:1 on a calldown.) |
