The answer to all us hardgainers problems
Jaffacakes?
No jokes, these are like the easiest things to eat. i eat a pack whenever im trying to play all night, along with a bottle of coke. they also give you energy during the day to keep you active. for £2 ($4) you can buy a pack of 36 jaffacakes, which gives you a total of: 1764 calories 21.6 grams of protein 313.2 grams of carbohydrate, of which 223.2g is sugars (would this give you problems like diabetes? i guess so, plus maybe headaches through too much sugar) just 36g of fat if you had breakfast, then a pack till lunch, then another pack till dinner, then a pack in the evening, it would help. say 500 cals for breakfast (say big omelette every day), 800 for lunch (pizza) and 1200 (soup, meat+pasta+veg, dessert)for dinner, on to of the 1700 odd from the jaffa cakes. thats 4200 without problem. this wouldnt be to get stacked, but to put on some weight it must be good. thoughts appreciated kane |

ah, you may not have the in the US.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A185104 explains them well. basically its a confectionary item, however they are recommended by sports nutrionists as they contain a lot of energy but with only 1g of far per cake. |

Re: The answer to all us hardgainers problems
I had no idea what Jaffa Cakes were until I looked it up. But wow, this is terrible, terrible advice. Those things are just sugar bombs. You might as well tell people to drink 8 sodas a day. The thought of somebody drinking a bottle of coke and eating an entire pack of those things makes me want to puke.
Even if you are going for the "eat as many calories of anything as possible" weight gaining philosophy, then there is nothing special about these things. You would be better off getting those junk calories from low sugar, fatty foods. The bottom line is that consuming a [censored] if sugar is one of the worst things you can do for your body, even if you are trying to gain weight. Do you realize how much 223g of sugar is? That is over 5 sodas worth of sugar, which is a ton. |

Contrarian voice:
If you're a real hargainer, and you combine "jaffcake thing" with lot of whey protein, it might not be the worst thing ever. Nah, nevermind, it is the worst thing ever. |
