Re: 100NL JTs Post-Flop
I may raise the flop to more like $12. I guess the turn bet is fine. Just call river except you're only risking $14 more.

Re: 100NL JTs Post-Flop
I presume you'd only just sat down, so the original raise seems like a bad idea. You're utg, you've no reads on the table and you haven't built any kind of image, yet you raise 4xbb. Fair enough you say you'd normally fold it, so why raise it here.
No need to over bet the pot on the flop either, reraise it to $12. You've left yourself a tricky situation on the turn. You've only got top pair yet he's forcing you to bet big on the turn in case he's drawing. If yo hadn't overbet the flop you wouldn't have to risk as much. Personally I would've folded the river. You say his bet screams weakness, but you'd only got $49 left. Maybe he was banking on you going over the top, and thought this was a safer way of getting all your money in. I'd be thinking he had more than a draw after the two bets he called. $100 into a pot with a pair of Js is just not right. |

Re: 100NL JTo Post-Flop
I probably just call river. I doubt he's really betting something like 99 or 1010. Even though his bet looks weak it could still be something like JQ which he doesn't want to go all in with. Plus 9 10 just got there and its real fun to laugh at villain when he has the nuts and couldn't bet $14 more which you would have called anyway.
I like the turn bet btw. I think a draw is very possible for him. |

Re: 100NL JTo Post-Flop
Looks fine to me.
But ew why did you raise pf with that utg fold that. Its almost never right to raise pf with j10o utg |

Re: 100NL JTo Post-Flop
I'm curious as to results here. A lot of times when I see this type of villain action, I assume it was a weak draw type hand but instead end up surprised at showdown when I find I was behind from the get go.
