Default Campaign to Save the Environment?

www.jobsthatmatter.org

Is this organization legit? They say they have summer positions that pay $4,000 to $6,000. Sounds like a solid deal, but what's the catch? Seems like they're desperate for workers, since they're advertising like crazy on campus, so I'm kinda skeptical...

They're advertising like crazy because nobody wants to go door to door busting people's chops at home. It might be legit, but it sounds like a horribly crappy job.

If you are good at canvassing, setting up a semi-fake charity and getting people to donate will make you a fairly nice living. Outright lying and fraud could like land you 200+ an hour.

they are incredibly incredibly desperate for kids. i walked into one of these fairs at my school last year for some information (didnt have a job, was curious)

it had been called an "INFORMATION SESSION" in more than oneplace. when i got there i was immediately given an application and interviewed.

also, w/ no real work experience\interviewing skills, i was offered a job as one of the "student managers", a position that was not complete entry level.

you go door to door bugging people to give the organization money. certainly not a rewarding experience and your pay is based off of how much $ you earn
