OOT, help me find this discontinued Hi-Liter! (FTP xfer reward!)

OK, I just want to say first this may be the nerdiest and nittiest thread I've ever made. Wow, I'm embarrassed already. That being said, I will throw some $$ your way on FTP if you can find me a steady supply of these.

OK, these hi-liters were discontinued 10 years ago, at least. They are jumbo hi-liters with a very large chisel tip. All of the Hi-liters now have less than 1 inch tips or 1-inch tips at the largest, which don't suit my hi-liting needs.

I've been in contact with Avery and every office supply wholesaler I can find, and I CANNOT find these hi-liters.

The only clue I have is a cryptic, maddening note on the side of the hi-liter which reads 'Reorder Series #24-17x' (verbatim.)

I've searched extensively. Flame away, but find me that hi-liter.

Man, you must REALLY like hi-liters to be keeping a 10-year old hi-liter aroudn the house. I used some google tricks but couldnt find anything for you though, sorry.

My current solution is draining new hi-liter fluid with a vice-grip into a bowl, pulling out the old hi-liter wicks and letting them soak up the fluid. (It gets worse, huh?)

I have a friend of mine that is a supervisor at Avery Dennison back home in Meridian. They employee 100s of people there. I have even worked there. I called him and he is going to check to see if they have any in the storage there. They tend to save boxes of stuff like this so they don't ever have to order it from corporate express.
