A2 against aggressive thinking player
It's the 40 fpp sat to the 4000 fpp saturday tourney for the WSOP seat. Not many reads except villain seems to be a pretty good thinking player, and fairly aggressive. I've only shown down 2 good hands in the last 2 orbits.

Re: A2 against aggressive thinking player
What is the 1/4 pot bet on the flop? Bet out real, checkraise, check/call, or check/fold. Anything else is better than this.
I would probably check on the flop with the idea of probably folding. In a multiway pot, someone is likely to have an ace. Someone is also likely to have a draw, and you won't be able to tell which. In a freeroll, people like to play aces and suited cards. You may have the best hand, but you are not going to win a big pot, and playing this hand is not profitable. |

Re: A2 against aggressive thinking player
The flop bet was actually a miss click, I had intended to bet about 1/2 the pot. I had a feeling this was a sketchy hand. Thanks.

Re: A2 against aggressive thinking player
Its one of those classic win a little, or lose a lot hands.
To get rid of a fd, you need to fire barrels on the flop and turn I tend to make a decent 3/4 pot bet on flop, then cf turn if called. SUre i get bluffed out, but i would often just bet out here, because a lot of people will fold pps when there is an A on board |
