Default Something I do too often...

I love this line on paired boards but I am not sure if it doesnt cost me loads of money. One of the first hands at the table. I have rockish image as usual cause everybody and their mother knows that I am 17-10 nit. Villain is Zappy who seems to be solid winning player.
Do you think it works often enough ? What about river plan if he calls and blank hit ?

a)cause paired board means that Villain probably dont have anything
b)cause everybody is cbetting paired boards so many Villains love to make moves in position after such a cbets cause they dont respect them at all
c)on non-paired board Villain may call with one pair to see one more card and maybe suckout to his 2pair and bust my overpair; on paired board he wont do that.

Oh well.. does it make sense or not ?

What are you doing if he raises the flop?

I usually fold but sometimes I tilt and try some moves. My favourite is stop and go and second barell on the river. It usually got called by an underapair...

I think you should bet more on the flop and if your read is that they are weak you should bet again on the turn. I dont think this is a good move, esp. because (most importantly) they know you dont have a 6. Which puts you in a real tough position (even with an overpair) if they a. call or b. raise. So we're basically counting on them a. floating or b. betting a hand like 99, 89, etc. then respecting your raise. I dont think the parlay exists.

But, you may be on to something, and perhaps I should consider this line in the future, as it's something that is not at the moment in my repotoire
