Default Common situation

I seem to suck in rr pots so I'd like to know how u play this.
Effective stacks 150bb, villain unknown. AK in the SB, button raises, u repop. Flop AQ7r, bet/call. Turn blank, u check, he bets 1/2-2/3 pot...
Is this a clear fold?

Like everything else, depends on villain. Fold to a nit, call down to a spaztard.

I guess you have never folded TPTK in a reraised pot. It's not a common line, but it can be done against the right opponent.

Instead of snarking my comment, feel free to offer your own and actually contribute something.

Neh, let's call and re-evaluate the river. There are pockets that may think that your turn check was weak and will bet for FE.

i dont think it matters what you do as long as you dont fold, i think talking about how much we 3bet is a good place to start but ignoring important matters of betsizing preflop and on the flop im check shoving the turn.

Ok, maybe I'm seeing ghosts, but in my experience they usually have it when I call down here. I'm always hoping he has AJ and checks behind the river, but I hardly ever see that happen and I'm drawing to a split at best. Of course it makes a difference who the villain is, but most opponents won't bluff or valuebet light here I think

your post was so bad its hard for anyone to offer any decent comment on it.

reads?
bet sizes?

it is definitely not a standard fold it is anything but standard but its impossible to say with such a vague post

it's like saying ...how do you win at poker? everything is situational and posts like this won't help you find a definition for each set ofcircumstances

I think against an unknown folding this is super-weak. Maybe I'm loose but I would need a VERY good reason to fold TPTK on this board in this situation. I mean what are we behind? AA, AQ and a set. No reason to think Villian has any of these without more evidence than a flop call and turn bet in position. I know I would play lots of hands that AK beats in situations postflop when I was on the button and got 3-bet.
