Nope. No argument from me at all. Just adding an example that makes the US Food Chain seem just a little bit safer than what some of the rest of the world eats.

There is something very fundamentally wrong with the FDA. It is a coercively funded, coercively enforced, government granted monopoly. It doesn't operate based on profit, and it has no incentive to serve consumers or businesses effectively. The people put in power serve the interests of those that gave them that power, or by businesses and special interest groups who bribe their way to favorable treatment.
