upgrade challenge

Okay the site is beng upgraded Saturday, and maybe be down for a large part of the day. So I'm suggesting this: you either suggest some sort of simple challenge for Loungers to do during downtime that they can report back on after the upgrade, or you take up one of these challenges.

Here's a few I'm giving:.
1) Take a picture of something interesting you own
2) See a movie you've never seen before but always wanted to, and tell us what you thought.

So post challenges, and post ehat chalenge you're taking.

I'm accepting (2), and will try and see 'the maltese falcon' on Saturday.

I used to really enjoy taking pictures around town when Blarg was running his Photo Thread.

I think it would be fun if we all grab our cameras and take a picture of something we do on Saturday, like a shot of a restaurant we eat at, or the cinema that Carter goes to, or a park we walk through or something. I'm not exactly sure what kind of picture but it would be cool to come back and see what everyone has.

I challenge all Loungers to eat as many boiled eggs as they can in one hour and report back with the results.

My submitted challenge will be

(3) Drink something new and report back.

It doesn't have to be beer, or even alcoholic, but it should be something you've never had before. Let us know what you think.

Now that's my kind of challenge. I'll have to see if my wife is bartending this weekend and pull out that big thick drink book!!

I challenge Loungers to write a super-short, auto-biographical story about themselves when they were 16 or younger. It can be no more than 200 words long.

Do a chore you've been putting off. I got a desk that looks to be a huge pain to assemble, and if I'm not working, that's what will take up too many hours of my day Saturday.

haha! That would be a crazed tradition for a group of people to establish.

I hope at some point you're going to tally these on Friday or something into a list. Then I won't have to look through each post....Just give me a nice list of however many we end up with and I'll try to do as many as possible, haha.

Obviously my challenge should revolve around not being lazy, as requesting a list instead of reading through the thread Friday again is clearly lazy. Eh.
