Pokerstars basics
I want to open a PS account. am I better off doing a bonus or doing rakeback - or can I get both?
I will probably play some 3/6 limit, about $20 one table SNG, and and an occasional tourney. |

Re: Pokerstars basics
there is no rakeback at stars. your vip level decides how many fpp's you get for one vpp which can also be calculated as rakeback. check their site for info about that.
you can also get kickback for stars through savvy. it's worth $80 or $90 after 500 vpp's which won't take long at your limits you'll also get $50 bonus from stars on top of that |

Re: Pokerstars basics
I would recommend signing up through PokerSourceOnline.com. In addition to the standard $50 signup bonus, PSO offers 9,000 PSO points ($90) if you are from the U.S. and 12,000 ($120) if you are from elsewhere. The kicker with PSO is that the promotion only requires 250 FPP's.
As Lessu said, there is no way to get rakeback at PokerStars, aside from FPP's. |

Re: Pokerstars basics
you could play Full Tilt and get rakeback plus softer games.

Re: Pokerstars basics
oh yea I forgot PSO also added stars to their sites. of course you should join through them as you get more from PSO than savvy.

Re: Pokerstars basics
You can't get rakeback at stars, as far as I know. I miss that too.
