simple DI question

sorry for starting new thread, but thought it would get buried elsewhere.

i assume that the colors on the DI USA map are for the different winners of the state... but then when i put my mouse over the states, seems like the colors don't correspond to any one contestant.

going from state to state and looking at the numbers... i see lakisha low alot of places and not high in very many. haley and jordin both seem to have some strong #'s in some big states, and more on the westcoast.....

unsure about this early DI thing, but my gut tells me the early #'s are key. when i watched closely (because i particularly liked antonella/brandon/"at risk"sanjaya), it seemed like at least 50% of the votes were in the first 30 minutes or so.
