Default 2/4 oop line check

Villain is 16/14 and has c-betted 3 of 8 turns as per my records.

The limper is a calling station and is short stacked. I could end up in a real sticky flop spot by 3-betting here so I didnt (but should I have?).

I would check and expect him to check behind the vast majority of the time. Whether or not to call a bet depends on other stuff you know about him. It's a pretty lousy spot for a bluff so if he's not aggro/stupid he probably has you beat.

This will of course sound horribly weak but betting has no value at all and people would generally fire again on the turn if they wanted to bluff at it.

Yeah check check went the river. It was horribly weak, each street, so thats why I posted it.

I cant help but thinking that if Im so certain of a check behind that a bet should be automatic, if for aggression's sake alone, not to mention that I might knock out TT or get a call by AK here.

I was shown 46s I think.

Haven't read the other responses yet.

Your lines looks good so far, though occasionally I'll donk bet the turn in a situation like this to avoid giving a free card.

Check the river and hope for it to get checked through. If he makes a decent river bet I'd be very tempted to fold since if he wanted to fire a second barrel bluff it'd probably be on the dry turn card.
