Default UB told me that moneybookers not for canadians??!

lol @ attention grabbing title.

Anyways, I emailed CS at UB and asked about moneybooker w/d times. They said that "Unfortunately, Moneybookers will not extend their services for Canadian residents."

I've used MB in the past, and I'm Canadian. Has this been a recent change?

My first thought is that you came across an uninformed CS rep. I've deposited on UB using MB in the past week. Only $10, but it worked...twice. I was able to start a w/d as well...unfortunately it was rejected due to lack of play. 1,000 UP not being sufficient to withdraw $1,500, apparently. I've tried again today with a smaller amount....I will be posting in the eWallets and MB withdrawal threads as to my success (or lack thereof).

I know I was skeptical of the Neteller rumour the first time so this time my first reaction was like, oh f***, I just wasted so much time setting up a Moneybookers account. It wouldn't surprise me at all at this point. Can somebody verify that Moneybookers still works for Canadians? If it's true that Moneybookers no longer accepts Canadians then I am not going to waste my time setting up any more online wallets. I am done with them.

Don't let one incompetent CS rep spook you. As posted in the big thread, I just deposited in Party via MB with no problems.

I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but there's no point getting all worked up over rumours...if you do that over eWallet rumours these days, you'll end up with an ulcer.

So what happens when you guys try to w/d via MB? Is the option there for you? Does it let you start a w/d and then it gets cancelled later?

Well knocking on wood didn't work. Now I have a missing deposit of hundreds from Moneybookers that I have to figure out why it's not showing up on my merchant's account.

I swear, never once did I have a problem while using Neteller. Moneybookers has been total crap so far with their non-existent customer service.
