Re: $5 tourney K10 tough spots
hmm i wouldnt fold PF youre getting 6-1 to complete
you can at least have a look just check/fold a T would shurely make your hand a K prob aswell seeign AQ would have raised PF but this is a draw heavy board straight/flush draw so except a T hitting turn you got nothing that could give you this pot PF complete flop check/fold turn Check/fold Turn=T raise |

Re: $5 tourney K10 tough spots
Hero bets 150?
@TheFoxNL: What about Q9? I see lots of weak players limping with that kinda hand... so I wouldn't feel very secure with my K tbh... |

Re: $5 tourney K10 tough spots
youre right Q9 is also dangerous
thats why i said check fold unless turn comes a T you got a possible straight on the board now and if not at least a monsterdraw i dont know this is a complicated situation somehow checking and giving them another free card (if they check behind youre olmost shure they got a draw) is -EV so maybe just put out a small bet like 100 and see what happens |

Re: $5 tourney K10 tough spots
(I'm a new poster and player, but trying to improve. I play $5 SnGs almost exclusively.)
This is a tough spot. At this level top pair is way over valued by many players. He could well have Kx here, or top pair/flush draw. However, any rational player wouldn't reraise with K-rag with no other way of improving his hand. He may have AK, but not likely as he probably would have raised PF. The other piece is that many bad players at this level may think the flop-check turn-bet means you're "bluffing" If the player is solid, the size of the reraise looks like he hit a straight and wants to shut down the flush and/or get value for playing against two pair (at least if I were villain that's what I'd do.) If you have no reads on villain, I think you need to fold here. You still have plenty of chips relative to the blinds. |
