im posting this again as a new post since its not at the top..
so what did the safe port act actually do to poker players in the US???

and why are some people worried about being prosecuted if it is 100% legal for US players to play online poker??

and is it legal in NJ to play online poker??

the bill made is very difficult to fund online poker accounts, not actually ban the game itself...as a result, several e-wallets like neteller and firepay have left the US markets to comply with this law...

u can still play online as long as u have a funding method like epassporte or something...

pokerg1 - try using the search function in the legislation forum, there's tons of information on your question. it's not explicitly illegal to play online poker in the US. nobody's worried about being prosecuted for playing poker, the only people that are having trouble sleeping are the ones that don't pay their taxes now that money is tied up in neteller and the feds may get their records. so go play poker, pay your taxes, and sleep well at night.
