Anyways, I know this villain and I think you will almost always see AA/KK here. He doesn't raise very much at all preflop, so when he minraises 2 players he's definitely strong.

If villain was a complete unknown to me, I prefer a call to a raise on the turn because a raise is probably only getting called by better hands. The way you've played this makes it clear to villain that you have a queen.

I don't think I would re-raise the turn. Your raise would neither make a stronger hand fold nor would a weaker hand call. And there is no need for protection, too. The raise is just a waste of money.
