i saw him tonight at the Memphis vs. St. Louis exhibition game. 3rd row in LF corner (that's where we were sitting, not Pujols. He was on the field).
Since I've seen him more recently than anyone here I feel I am most qualified to say it is DEFINITELY a no. He hit one to the warning-track. It was nifty. They pitched around him his next time up in a 2-2 game in the 8th with a runner on 2nd. WTF? It's an exhibition game against your AAA team. When your AAA team won't even pitch to you in an exhibition then he must be super-duper good. Lots of flashbulbs around the stadium every time he's up. Wow, he must be REALLY good if everyone wants his picture. Dave Duncan made 2 nice catches in LF. One crashing into the bullpen in left-center. Backup Chris Bennett hit a grand-slam in the 8th to win it for St. Louis. Hooray for baseball season!!!
