Worth the risk?
We're not getting a consensus on this hand among my friends. Middle stages of a $109. Only history with this guy: Blinds 200/400 25a, average stack around 8K. He raises to 1200 (of his 14K) in the hijack, I push my 3700 stack from the co and he folds after a few seconds of "thought", getting 2.3:1.
A few hands later, I'm now in the BB (still 200/400 25a) with 7200. He has 13K. Folds to SB (villain) who instypushes. I have K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Thoughts? |

Re: Worth the risk?
You dont need to risk all your chips on kqo here. You still have 18 bbs. Chillax and wait for a better spot.

Re: Worth the risk?
itīs no shame to let him have your blind, with a healthy stack and a K-high hand

Re: Worth the risk?
I wouldn't look to 'dance' right now with KQ os here given that your reads are limited on villian. Fold and wait for a better spot to take his chips.

Re: Worth the risk?
I think it's safe to say he's not pushing 18x (effectively) with QQ-AA. My ranges on villain:
Ax - 33% 22-JJ - 33% Any 2 - 33% Right around 50%. Does it make any sense to take this gamble to get a dominating stack? |

Re: Worth the risk?
Does 14k really give you a dominating stack? I vote fold.
