Default Busting on bubble

I haven't done any in depth analysis as I am still trying to sort PT for tourny games.

I have realised though, that I have busted on the bubble (4th) 4 out of the last 6 games. The other 2 games I busted v.early - once bad luck/bad beat and the other a combination of bad play and bad luck. Obviously this is frustrating, but I was wondering if it relates to my style of play at all. I seem to get 1st, bust in 4th, or bust v.early. I very rarely get 2nd or 3rd, or 5th-7th. Maybe I am too aggressive?

I realise there is not much info to go on, and the results are only over the last 10 tourneys or so, but any comments would be greatly appreciated.

It's really impossible to say. Post some hands at or near the bubble. Maybe you're pushing too loosely, maybe your not.

In sit n goes your primary goal is not 'to play for first'. Because of the flat payout structure, it is often right to play to sneak into the money.

Read the faq about ICM. It'll help you figure out if you are playing optimally.

You have nowhere near enough games to determine anything at all.. but if in the long run this continues with lots of 3rd and 4th place finishes it is likely you are not pushbotting correctly late game and playing far too tight on the bubble, this was my problem when I first started playing and that was the evaluation I got from my high amount of 3rds and 4ths.

Again though.. play more before changing anything please.

4 out of the last 6 games. 10 tourneys

Play another 990+ games and see how it goes.

You need a much bigger sample size to come to any conclusions, post some hands in question.

Please read the FAQs.

You only really need to worry when it is 7/10

Ten sngs is to small of a sample size to say anything. You need at least 1k sngs to really come to any conclusion. Also, I would recommend reading the faq namely irieguy post and checking out RVGs roi simulator.

Keep working on your post count. If it gets high enough, people may respect your 'pearls of wisdom'. Its your only shot. Thanks.
