Default AK, am I a wuss?

9 players, 10-25NL
Villian and hero have approximately 25-30$ each

I have no #s on villian but have a history with him reraising my bets. I am fairly loose (around 28% flops seen) and like to limp. However I play fairly aggressive in position and post flop. In this scenario I raise to .75 in the CO with AK off and folders to me. Villian is big blind and after two folds reraises to 3$. I puss out and fold not wanting to put it in. Is this nitty? If I call I face at least a 5$ flop bet and if I miss am faced with a tough decision. What would you all do?

Essentially, yes. The FR forum is better suited for these hands.

And you'll get better/more responses if you use a handconverter, such as legopoker or others. GL!
