I heard full clip was one of the best "best of" albums ever. But I can't really help you with best of stuff, usually stay away from those. Gang Starr isn't a him though, its Guru and Premier.

if you like what you hear from this best of, it wont do them justice.. its the production that is the strong point and you cant get that from bits and pieces of albums

with that said, Moment of Truth is my favorite by them, but im young in terms of the typical gangstarr fan (20) and dont really appreciate that much of their older stuff.

I have to recommend "Daily Operation". It's just classic Guru and Premier, rugged beats and raw lyrics. One of my favorite albums of all-time. Then again, their whole discography is classic. They really don't have one bad album.

Full Clip isn't just a "best of" album, but it really is a great starting point.

IMO, the last truly great rap album that was made. Nobody makes music like that anymore.
