two hands vs. voodoo wizard
Villain is VoodooWizard, a multitabling huge fish at 5/10. In my experience he is an emotional calling station that plays a ton of hands.
First hand I posted results because it affects hand two. POKERSTARS GAME #8966119355: HOLD'EM NO LIMIT ($5/$10) - 2007/03/18 - 14:34:42 (ET) Table 'Reticulum IV' 6-max Seat #5 is the button Seat 1: VoodooWizard ($1239.25 in chips) Seat 2: iMaMEERKAT ($1136 in chips) Seat 3: ZhugeL1ang ($1904 in chips) Seat 4: alexeimartov ($1100 in chips) Seat 5: CrAbLaR ($1131 in chips) Seat 6: heighten111 ($535 in chips) heighten111: posts small blind $5 VoodooWizard: posts big blind $10 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to CrAbLaR [Ts As] iMaMEERKAT: folds ZhugeL1ang: folds alexeimartov: raises $30 to $40 CrAbLaR: raises $101 to $141 heighten111: folds VoodooWizard: raises $149 to $290 alexeimartov: folds CrAbLaR: calls $149 *** FLOP *** [4d 5s Ad] VoodooWizard: bets $170 CrAbLaR: calls $170 *** TURN *** [4d 5s Ad] [2s] VoodooWizard: bets $779.25 and is all-in CrAbLaR: calls $671 and is all-in *** RIVER *** [4d 5s Ad 2s] [Qh] *** SHOW DOWN *** VoodooWizard: shows [5d 5h] (three of a kind, Fives) CrAbLaR: mucks hand VoodooWizard collected $2304 from pot *** SUMMARY *** Total pot $2307 | Rake $3 Board [4d 5s Ad 2s Qh] Seat 1: VoodooWizard (big blind) showed [5d 5h] and won ($2304) with three of a kind, Fives Seat 2: iMaMEERKAT folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 3: ZhugeL1ang folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 4: alexeimartov folded before Flop Seat 5: CrAbLaR (button) mucked [Ts As] Seat 6: heighten111 (small blind) folded before Flop I figured his range is AQ, AK, TT-AA, weighted towards KK, QQ, and AA and that I had outs vs. whatever and he could very easily be desperation shoving with his big pairs. Critiques welcome. Anyway, after that hand he was flaming me real hard and I was steaming so I talked back, he definitely thinks I'm on tilt and is making an effort to play pots with me. He has won a few additional small pots when this hand happens: POKERSTARS GAME #8966874841: HOLD'EM NO LIMIT ($5/$10) - 2007/03/18 - 15:19:56 (ET) Table 'Nongoma' 6-max Seat #2 is the button Seat 1: CrAbLaR ($955 in chips) Seat 2: Deteto4udo ($1006 in chips) Seat 3: staringelf ($1000 in chips) Seat 4: VoodooWizard ($1371 in chips) Seat 5: moondog77 ($589 in chips) Seat 6: bfineman ($1120 in chips) staringelf: posts small blind $5 VoodooWizard: posts big blind $10 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to CrAbLaR [Js Kd] moondog77: folds bfineman: folds CrAbLaR: raises $20 to $30 Deteto4udo: folds staringelf: folds VoodooWizard: calls $20 *** FLOP *** [6d 4c Jc] VoodooWizard: checks CrAbLaR: bets $40 VoodooWizard: raises $100 to $140 CrAbLaR: calls $100 *** TURN *** [6d 4c Jc] [Kc] VoodooWizard: bets $200 CrAbLaR: calls $200 *** RIVER *** [6d 4c Jc Kc] [8s] VoodooWizard: bets $350 I'm almost positive he wants me to call, but how thin is he value betting? Maybe he is bluffing (I really doubt it)? |

Re: two hands vs. voodoo wizard

Re: two hands vs. voodoo wizard
Well if u call flopp you have to play this turn and river. If he is a callingstation why do u play second hand superpassive?
I think first hand is just wierd and second is horrible w ure reads. |

Re: two hands vs. voodoo wizard
i call but i'm not too thrilled about it. results of the first hand could make him value bet a lot thinner since he thinks you'll call him down light every time.
