Default Best place to watch NCAA Final Game in Vegas?

I'll be in Vegas for the NCAA Finals on Monday, April 2nd. Does anyone have any experience for the best place to watch the game? I'm staying at the Wynn, so I could always just post up in the Sportsbook. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Any sportsbook at a major casino will work out fine, they will be pretty packed as well which should make it more high engergy and fun to watch the game there as well

Bellagio Sportsbook has nice chairs, it will be packed though.

Is it worth trying the ESPN Zone? Never been to the one in Vegas, but is it better than going to a sportsbook in a casino? I could always place my bet at the casino and then go to ESPN Zone. Thoughts?

If you have any juice with Caesars, they set up the back poker tournament room for VIP's on an invite-only basis.

The Wynn also reserved an area in the bar overlooking the sports book, for high rollers. I saw another similar setup but can't remember where. I didn't see anywhere you could just pay and get a reserved seat type of thing.

I'd probably just watch it on the HD in the room. That's one game that will be available everywhere, unlike the starting weekend games.

This doesn't seem to bode well for the poker room. When random non-poker-related things take over big chunks of the poker room it can't be a good sign. They used the poker tourney area a while back to run a BJ tournament, too.

Was the room full with cash games? Did they have room to run the noon, 7pm, and 11pm tourneys all weekend?

Because it's more fun not to be able to bet on the game?

Well, I wasn't in there all weekend for every tournament. Friday, they ran the 7 pm with 7 tables in the area off to the right (where the cocktail waitresses never go) and started the 11 pm when we were down to 2 tables. The cash games were "full" except maybe for a couple tables on the raised platform to the left of the room. When I say full, I mean that a number of tables had 1 or 2 open seats. It was not packed to the gills like the Wynn was, but much busier than I've ever seen it, including during the WSOP.

I was also there on Friday and traffic seemed pretty good from 8pm when I arrived until about 2:00am. I left around 3am and there were no lists for the $1-3NL game I played.

I also thought the 1-3 game (also played Sun afternoon) was frankly, pretty lame. Friday there were 1 or 2 decent stacks and the rest were shorties ($200 or less). Sunday I was on a newly opened table and bought for $400. One other had $500, a $300 and the rest were $200 or less (most $100 or $120 including stack of blues??????????).

The reason I liked the room back in December (on a Monday no less) were the deeper stacks of $4-500. I even checked out the other 1-3NL tables and seemed to see the same thing. Maybe just a bad weekend (spring break?).

Count me among those concerned about health/future of some card rooms and NL cash games in general. I think 1-2NL with 200 max buy kind of sucks and is getting worse.

I will say this about Caesar's: each time I've been in the room the staff has gone out of there way to make me feel welcome. It seems the staff tries to help each other (ie, dealers running for chips, etc). I haven't rec'd this same feeling in "other" rooms.

But you need action & $$ to be won. That's why we're there, right?
