For those somewhat new to New England poker, Mohegan Sun closed their old poker room sometime in 2003- just before the poker boom hit.

What have you seen written in their press releases about a poker room "before?"

I know someone here in Vegas who's moving to Conn to help open up the Mohegan poker room. It's legit, it's happening.

I've seen the date of completion for the H.O.B. poker room given before as "Spring 2008" and, excuse my reading comprehension, this press release does not indicate anything definite or different.

They closed last time b/c of illegal activity. At least that's what I heard years back when I played at Foxwoods. Apparently they were offerring their regulars and high rollers "extra" services. Unfortunately, it won't open for a while.

I don't care how many press releases they put out. I don't even care if they've bought the tables and chairs already. I will believe it when I see it.
