Stupid question, but I have to ask..
I am using pokertracker, and I am running around 30/14 aggressionfactor 2,5. I do not fully understand the first number and what it indicates, it says vpip (volume put in pot), but it does not make that much sense to me.
Yeah I know I suck, but I have to ask right. And another question as well, I have seen that the good semi tight players have something around 20/15/2,5 as well, I know these numbers are individual, but what is an ideal number for say, a loose aggressive player and a tight aggressive player? |

Re: Stupid question, but I have to ask..
vpip = % of times you voluntarily put money into the pot preflop.
Many successful styles, but good lags are usually around 30/25ish. You are probably limping and/or coldcalling too many raises if your numbers (30/14) are that far apart. |

Take a look at the master sticky, especially Pokey's How to Use Pokertracker Thread.

Re: Stupid question, but I have to ask..
the only stupid question is the one that goes unasked, thats what these forums are about becoming better players
