Default Keeping records when playing many tables

This might not belong here, but I couldn't find anywhere else so its going here.

If I'm playing a lot of tables (10+) how do I keep track of where I finish so I can keep accurate records?

For the record, I play on PokerStars, but they will only send full results for the last 5 games, and requesting all of them individually would get tedious quickly. So is there an alternative?

fo sho, and also sng tracker which is free.

on a related note, and sorry for a possible hijack (but not really or i wouldn't do it)... does anyone know of a free program that charts winnings from both ring play AND tournament play? I'm pretty sure I'm going to write one soon if there isn't already one out there.

But what about the problem of SNG tracker missing games as the hard drive misses some?

i don't know, i don't use it except for when i want to import from pt to make a chart. i'm also not aware of the hard drive issue, so if you could fill me in that would be cool.

If you do, make sure it can import directly from PT. It would only be useful to be if it was the exact same data from my PT database.

I'm not real good at getting all of my tournament summaries into PokerTracker, so I also log SNG results in an Excel spreadsheet.

But since it can be a nuisance to use Excel while still in the middle of other SNGs, I quickly note the results on a piece of paper and then transfer all of the day's results to Excel at the end of the day. I use a simple table I made with columns for date, site, buy in, finish position, and notes. I also have a box that I check off after I transfer the results to Excel.

It's a bit of work, I suppose, but I rarely play more than 10 in a day, so it's not that much.
