Here is a letter from my team captain on an internet chess site. He is a superb instructor and motivator. We need help maintaining our website and this is what he is willing to offer.


I have coached chess since 1956. I play on an internet team with one master and three experts, and 26 other good players. Our goal is to become better players. Much time is taken up in other things, so I have to limit the number of players I can coach. But, I can trade: Time is always taken in maintenance of our team site. We have a great site with forums on openings, tactics, endgames, general principles and a chess server, along with other fine features. I would take a student if he had the discretionary time and willingness to work on our site maintenance and growth. If you know of anyone who has an interest in both chess and programming, please let me know. The only requirements are:
1. The player cannot currently belong to any internet chess team.
2. He/she must have discretionary time to both improve their chess game and help on the site.

A student or retired person with both computer and chess interests would be ideal, age is not important, but the person must have the discretionary time.
