Default Summer after high school graduation

I'd just like to hear what some people did the summer before their first year of college (interesting/crazy stories, experiences, plans, etc.) I'm sure we can get some good discussion going.

Partied a lot and played a lot of poker. Not all that spectacular looking back, but it was pretty great at the time.

We played a ton of poker and had a great time doing it. While it is something I would not enjoy if I were to do it this upcoming summer, it was a total blast that particular year.

I don't think you have to do anything other than something you enjoy. If you do that, I think you'll have great memories of that time.

I drank 2-3 nights a week, hung out with friends almost every night and worked 30 hours a week. Nothing major, but it was great none the less.

Still being in highschool i can tell you what i'll be doing in 9 months (Australian finish).
1. Get a job monday thru thursday
2. Grind out micro limits in my spare time
3. Drink every other night that i don't have work the next day
4. Head overseas after a few months of grinding it out.

Although the drinking may effect my saving i'll probably have to play more poker and work more days for this to ultimately succeed...but i still got a long time to plan for this
