Default First hand of live donkament (99 on QQ2 board)

Everyone has 4000 chips. Blinds are 100/200 and double every 20 minutes (we have a decent dealer so it's probably 10 hands).

My table is fairly standard, one very good player (the live tournament is the only MTT action in town), a couple of OK players, the rest either known donkeys or unknown donkeys.

I am BB with 99.

MP 1 open limps, MP2 calls, Button calls, SB completes.

What should I do?

I actually pop it to 1000. There's 1/4 of a stack up for grabs, none of the players are smart enough to see this as a sort of squeeze play and I'd much much rather play this HU for lots of chips than 5 way for set value (multiway people are more inclined to fold).

Anyway, MP1 (based on one previous tournament I think he's pretty loose passive) calls.

Flop is QQ2 rainbow.

What should I do?

Nice ... I would have checked and looked for set value

Now that you are in the hand, shove

Ah, well I guess you could check/evaluate the turn but I'm pretty sure you can take this pot down on the flop.

I shove preflop and add 20% to my stack.

this early in the tourney, OOP, I probably try to flop a set here....especially considering most players in the tourneys are so bad that if you do spike the set, you can double through someone with top pair.
