Default Forum Suggestion: High Stakes NL Strategy

This would be a private forum where only certain people could post and respondants would be held to a high standard.

I think a lot of the really quality posters from High Stakes NL would come back if there were a forum dedicated purely to strategy and heavily moderated to keep the S/N ratio down.

There has been a lot of discussion regarding this in HSPLNL but no real action...

what do you think?

What would the qualifications be to be able to post there? Im really curious to know..

I play 10/20 NL live and 5/10 NL 6-max online. So im sort of on the borderline.

I don't think it needs to only be high stakes players posting
I think they just need to get rid of idiots posting.

ActionJeff already started something similar to this (member's only high-stakes discussion board). Maybe that's where all the high stakes NL strategy posts are.

Being a small stakes player; I occasionally browse the HSNL forums to see the thought process really good players go through. Are you asserting that only a certain list could post, or the ENTIRE forum be held private?

Cmon, man. This is a public forum. Bigger it is, lower is S/N ratio. I don't see any problems in HSNL. Anytime hand that is deemed interesting by HSNL "elite" is posted, most of the good posters respond. The fact that they are not willing to respond to redundant/seen before questions is not gonna change after you make the forum private.

I have nothing against you, but when you complain about low quality posts, the least you could do is to provide a link in your HSNL thread to this thread.

Grifter you are a [censored] terrible poster. LOL at the fact you think this should be applied.

If it is kept public for reading, but only people actually playing HS can post then it's not a bad idea.

Disclaimer - I play small stakes.
