100NL: Help a poor man extract money on two hands...

Turn: ($82) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero... What is the better play here, push all in, or check turn to induce bluff? Pot is bigger than villain's stack so betting full stack isnta problem. Villain is 44/18/1 over 40 hands, so not a big sample. I have not been playing with him long enoguh to get any specific reads, but he did insta call the flop, not even thinking bout 3rd player. 2nd hand: PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) UTG ($122.65) Button ($94) Hero ($113.20) BB ($129.45) Preflop: Hero is SB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG raises to $4, Button calls $4, Hero calls $3.50, 1 fold. Turn: ($31) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets $15, Button calls $15. River: ($61) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets $36, Button calls $36. Final Pot: $133 I'm having trouble extracting money with sets lately, and I think my line with them may be suboptimal. Do people just jam the pot in spots like this? NO PA hud stats on villain. He is tight, and generally not agressive. He has also not won any pots in quite a long time, so I assume he may be getting frustrated. |

Re: 100NL: Help a poor man extract money on two hands...
First hand i'd bet 40 on turn and rest on river, but shove if he is bad enough to call it with a draw.
Second hand i bet 11/25/shove on fop, turn and river. Why on earth do you bet less than 1/2 pot on turn? |

Hand 1
Lead out small at this turn. He doesnt have that much money and you have a lock, bet 30-40 on the turn and push on river. Hand 2 Lead flop turn and river...or c/c flop and c/r small on turn. |

Re: 100NL: Help a poor man extract money on two hands...
First hand I'd bet something stupid like $20 or $25 bc of stack sizes- hoping he pushes, but making it really easy to call and forcing him to call the river.
Second hand if I am checking the flop its to c/r flop or to c/r turn. As played, when he calls your turn bet its obvious he has at least TP so I'm firing 50 or more. |
