Default memory

I am looking for some games or exercises I can use to improve my memory. Does anybody have some suggestions or information on training memory?

Recite the alphabet with each letters corresponding rank:
A 1 B 2 C 3 etc.

When you have that down, reverse it:
1 A 2 B 3 C etc.

When you have that down, alternate them:
A 1 2 B C 3 4 D etc.

improves concentration and memory.
