Does anyone else like a value raise on the flop, in position on the bettor?

Even against a set your equity abounds..

plus you might fold out the 87

Based on your play on the turn, mandatory call AI.

PF call is marginal but as played looks good, I might raise the flop if I figure to win it right there most of the time, a 4 high flush isn't that strong as one of the other two could also be drawing to a bigger one.

I also make a potsize reraise on the flop and shove if reraised. Even if you are a favorite over most hands except a set, your still drawing and it can get tricky on the turn when a blank hits. Also, one of the strenghts of monster draws is it FE. As played I call the shove.

Agreed... I think you have to put more money in before the turn as a blank will evaporate most of your chance to win plus your fold equity will disappear if a King of diamonds hits

I think calling preflop here is not a good idea. SB is short. UTG is still to act and short too. Your absolute position sucks. Your relative position is not very good either. And you hand sucks.

The flop is all right, but not because of you draws (they are both very poor, expecially the straight one) but because probably no one has a hand here and you toughest opposition is likely to be a middle pair or KJ type of hand.

The best way to play a combo draw, expecially this week and OOP, is to check raise all in. FE is your friend. And no, you dont want another spade to come with 3 other people in the pot

Please notice that SB just called preflop, then made a full pot sized bet on the flop, and that he is short stacked.

He is not folding to a raise.
