Moving to Vegas

I'm moving to Las Vegas at the end of July. I'm heading there at the end of March to hunt for apartments. I would prefer a 1 bedroom approx $800 for rent. Anyone have any complexes or areas that they really love or recommend? I'm thinking of the Green Valley area/Henderson area but am open to the right place. Thanks

I just spent a month in a condo complex called Camden Apartments on the Henderson/Green Valley border. The place has two pools, two hot tubs, and a workout room on the property. Two supermarkets (including Trader Joe's) are within walking distance as well as a bunch of restaurants and strip-mall stuff. You have a car, right? It's a about 2 hours to get to the strip by bus (10 minutes by car) or a $25-30 cab ride.
