Default Hi, I\'m betgo

I've been really thinking about this play a lot and finally had the perfect spot and hand to open limp OTB. I raised last orbit and SB jammed on me and BB has snged me when he was shorter.

I'm going to disagree and say this is bad against decent opponents. Your hand is EXACTLY what it looks like (pretty cards that can't stand a reraise). They've played back at you recently so you'd pretty much never limp a big hand so they can pretty much raise/push and win this pot every time. Just raise/fold or open fold if you think they're that aggressive (it's ok to fold T9s on the button sometimes).

edit: eagles, there is no way this should ever be standard.

Steve

Steve,

I use it a lot and rarely get raised with these stacks.

I'm pretty much never in the "oh no, exploitable" camp, but this one is too much I think. Stacks are so perfect for restealing that not raising big hands (where AT, 77, KQ are big) is pretty bad. So your range is so weighted towards mediocre hands that a lot of people who are good enough to resteal are probably good enough to raise pretty wide here.

That said, I guess I've never really done too much of it so I could be way off here...

Steve

People should raise these a lot but they don't. If my limps start getting raised(which good players will do) than it's time to look for a different option but most people don't.
