Default Plummer to Bucs?

From ProFootballTalk.com:

[ QUOTE ]
PLUMMER TO THE BUCS

Several media outlets report that the Broncos have shipped quarterback Jake Plummer to the Buccaneers, for a fourth-round draft pick.

The move gives Plummer a chance to compete with Chris Simms for the starting job, and likely relegates 2006 rookie Bruce Gradkowski to the bottom of the depth chart.

It also removes Tampa from the Jeff Garcia derby.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thoughts? I thought Garcia would've been a perfect fit in TB, and wanted to see Houston pick up Plummer; well pick up someone besides Carr anyway.

I seriously think I'd rather have Plummer than Vick.

I'm not sure its a great move for Plummer...isn't Gruden's offensive system supposed to be really complex and annoying in terms of jargon etc?

Plus its seems like Gruden and Plummer will totally clash...since neither seems interested in taking [censored] from people.

Houston seems like a better fit but guess they weren't offering as a high of a pick.

Though if they end up drafting Calvin Johnson like most predict...Cadillac,Pittman,Alstott,Galloway,Clayto n,CJ are seem pretty nice weapons...too bad their O-line is so mediocre.

Guess Gruden reeeaaally wanted Plummer cuz Denver was going to have to cut himin the next month...and Jeff Garcia was avaiable so to give up a 4th rounder says something in itself.

Don't get the feeling Chris Simms will be startn for the Bucs next year.

Evidently Plummer is retiring instead.

Yeah guess it is true...lol that is so awesome. So Jake.

Sucks though...always was a Plummer fan. Would have loved to have seen him start in Houston.
