Default folded overpair 9s in 10/20 hu game

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $10/$20
2 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (2 players) Hero is SB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero raises to $70, BB raises to $240, Hero calls.

Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($480, 2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $350, Hero folds.
Uncalled bets: $350 returned to BB.

Results:
Final pot: $480

villain is 22.1/18/5.5 on 244 hands (all hu)

he was very conservative with his 3bets so far
he contbettet virtually every flop when raised
seems very agressive when sensing weakness

i hate verything about my situation here

his tight 3bet range
OOP
drawy board
his willingness to shove me of draws with highcard hands when blank hits after c/c flop

is this fold ok or just to weak for a HU game against tag?

edit: damn converter dont include stacksizes

we are about 2200$ deep

First hand:
If you think you're beat, he obviously must have an overpair. What is the likelihood that both of you are holding a PP? I think he should be able to play AK, AQ the same way and he's a 3:1 dog. Could be the last attempt to take the pot down with this (huge) c-bet. Do you have any betting patterns?
You say he attacked weakness so far, didn't you show weakness with just calling PF and checking Postflop? AK and AQ make perfectly sense as well as any overpair. I'd call and bet out the turn. If he calls you are beat and can c/f.

OP: i like the fold in hand 1.

Why? You're OOP, and even if you're ahead now, there's not a card in the deck (save a 9) that's going to make you feel any better about your holding on 4th st.

I hate those positions: getting re-popped OOP when you have an above avg holding on what looks to your opponent like a pure steal attempt; but I've gotten more and more apt to just fold these hands and outplay the guy later on...the times when I've held firm and 'made a stand', i'm consistently cut down to size by JJ+. He's got you by the balls in this hand; fold it, and you'll sleep fine.

If he's 22/18 HU you can fold any time he shows any interest in the pot and still make scads of money

fold pf in hand 1 if you are going to fold this flop, you dont really have odds to flop a set.

something must be wrong with those stats; no one open-folds ~80% of the time HU

I was surprised nobody said anything about the stats, too. If he's supertight (even if not folding 78% of his hands), the fold is fine, though folding preflop might be better.
